Yeah so topic for today is something that seems to be happening everyday at around 5-6pm: Storms.  For some crazy ass reason we are getting storms just about everynight (btw, if you’ve read my “Insinner Curse” post you’ll find it funny that we had a show last night, and yep: It stormed, storm = rain).

Brisbane has been hit by some severe storms lately, especially just north of the city, and it’s done some SERIOUS damage too.  I found it to be somewhat movie-like the other day when i went outside to see the black, literally black, clouds rolling in, literally ROLLING in.  There were people on the street RUNNING home, genuinely afraid of getting caught in the storm.

Nothing serious has happened near my home or anything, but yeah, lately storms have begun to become a regular occurrence in the average day.  Night turns to day, then back to night again… breakfast in the morning, lunch around midday, dinner at night… work… and come 5-6pm, storm warning.

I personally like the storms, i don’t however like how they force me to pull the plug out of my PS3 and prohibit me from playing Ratchet and Clank.  I had my PS1 blow up on me in a storm, not riskin it with my PS3.  But yeah, i love falling asleep while there’s rain hammering down outside, its great.  Also it stops people coming into work, so i get to just chill :P

Yep.. storms… impressive, destructive, and somewhat calm and soothing.

Ciao for Now

Best part of that entry was:
‘breakfast in the morning, lunch around midday, dinner at night… ‘
I cracked myself laughing thinking ‘he hit the nail on the head!’.
