Money’s getting tough these days, but the lifestyle is awesome and relaxing.  The good thing about the money issue is that it’s forcing me to save badcore – which i’m happy about because i want to get into a good money-management rhythm before i reach Japan.

My cold is still persisting, it’s very mild, but it’s there – which is a tad irritating.  I’d prefer to be either dead sick, or healthy.  Not a fan of the in between. But i’m on the mend! And that’s all that counts.

As those who have been following my blog would know, i’m living in a tiny room that is in the same house as my older brother.  Let me explain quickly: The lady who owns this house (Karen), is renting her Garage to my brother, Richard (or Ish), and a tiny room to me.  Now my room would probably fit 4 times into the garage my brother stays in.  But in his garage he has Foxtel! (Satellite TV) Now I used to watch Foxtel like nothin else when i used to live with my Mum, keeping up to date with the latest in random shows like Attack of the Show, Man vs. Wild, London Ink, MMA/UFC and Anthony Bourdain’s: No Reservations.  All very different shows! But it’s good to have them back, it’s good to have the time to just chillax on my bro’s recliner and watch mind-numbing shows.  Something I haven’t experienced since I lived back at Mum’s place.

I’ve started studying more Japanese.  Really focusing on recognising Kanji and Vocab as i believe, with my little knowledge of the language, that being able to identify Kanji and at least recognise and speak a few words will really help in a practical sense.  Grammar and Kanji readings etc. is very important, but i don’t think i have the time to get them to a level where it will really aid me in any way at all before i depart for Japanland.

The other thing i found time for…. well no… i always had the time, but it seems what i’ve recently acquired was MOTIVATION! (something burnout likes to destroy from your mind) So i had regained my motivation to start my new blog template design.  I’ve started like 32147912 times the past month or so, only to give up 5 minutes later.  But not yesterday!

Yesterday I felt the surge to finish this! I’m completely over my current blog design, and I wanted something new and refreshing, ready to be launched come Japanland.  And so around midday yesterday I had begun looking for my inspiration.  After finding something I could work from I snagged it, and worked on it until 3am this morning.  The result? My new COMPLETE theme!  My experiences working for Bargainwheels/Webbcarr has really taught me a lot about working on themes.  And so I’m glad I completed this in about 12 hours.  There may be a couple of you who may have seen it pop up once or twice if you visited my site sometime last night as i was running a few tests (mainly for IE).

EDIT: I have acquired Alex the Kidd from the old Sega Master System on my laptop! Just finished it about 5 minutes ago! Oh nostalgia..

Unemployed! And loooooving it xD

Ciao for Now!
