So there is less than 24 hours until I land in Osaka… wow, it’s come along faster than I thought, and of course as usual, in typical ‘Paul Style’ I have left everything until the last minute. I had to start work at 5, so I knew I had to get everything done before I went to work.

Finally: Japanland

Ok so this is just an email i’ve sent home, i’ll make a blog post out of it too!

“just letting you know i made it ok, the flight was pretty cool i slept most of the way.  nothing has sunk in yet, just feels like im in a weird brisbane, but i havent been outside yet.  its extremely humid, grossly.  i need a shower lol things are a bit weirder here, but really cool.  there were these japanese people on the flight who gave mitch and i chocolate and bread, and 161 yen lol they were really nice, so mitch gave em a keyring which they seemed to like.

this keyboard is weird as shit.

customs were really relaxed, they didn:t check anything.

ok so now im gonna make my way to my dorm place, should take about an hour and  half or so.  wish me luck hahahaha.

jace”

Ciao for Now!

Something quite exciting happened yesterday… I bought my first international plane ticket!! (was that sentence even worded correctly?)

So yeah, i’ve never left the shores of Australia before, but I’ve flown between Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane a bunch of times.  But now… I have a plane ticket… to Osaka… 29th of August, 10:25am…

Ok! so we ended up boarding the plane at about 5:30 for a 6am takeoff…  I fell asleep before the plane even started taxi-ing (or whatever) and had a very restless flight.  It was terrible because i didnt sleep at all at the airport.  Anyway, my brother and I finally made it to Melbourne airport where we met our step-mum who took us back to her/dad’s house.
