Yeah so i’ll just quickly churn out a couple things that’s been goin down.  I know the next post was to be the Sydney Diary, but… i’m still in Sydney – PATIENCE YOUNG ONES!

1st Awesome Thing – Email from DHL – Certificate of Eligibility is on its way from Kansai Gaidai!

2nd Awesome Thing – Housing forms got released! Emailed them back in a flash! …  Then re-emailed them because i forgot to attach my form.

3rd Awesome Thing – A little milestone of mine was to become the first result on google.com (and google.com.au, .co.nz, .co.uk, .co.jp as well) if you typed in “kansai gaidai blog” <– and i finally got it this morning.  Google fluctuates its results all the time so if YOU try and check i might not be first anymore – BUT the fact is i was first, even if only for a couple hours, i was first. Fuck. Yeah.

The week or so has been quite eventful – although the events themselves seem super lame.

I was meeting my darling Amy at a restaraunt the other day, i was running late and i had to put my shoes on, so what did i do? Put my shoes on WHILST driving! Achievement! … … *cough*

New blog design is in progress, concept #1 completed,  aaaand…. scrapped. It won’t do.  Onto concept #2.

Oh i also bought a hat the other day, turns out it was a girls hat – and i wear it with pride!

Met a few new people who ran into my blog, hopefully they are enjoying it – big shout out to them.  Especially you Chris, my fellow gentleman who can’t breath whilst sleeping lol

Yeah that’s right, i’ve got an emoticon in my title… sorta.

So, down to 57.5 days till I leave for Japan – till i’m bound for “Kansai Gaidai University”.  Oh and what a crazy place it will be.  Everything has been brimming “Kansai Gaidai” these days, such as the “Kansai Gaidai Hub”, my little “Kansai Gaidai Blog”, socializing with the other “Kansai Gaidai Students”, and waiting for more “Kansai Gaidai Information” and instructions.  It’s nuts.

After talking to the other future students, my decision of which Seminar House to stay in has swayed to Seminar House 3.  That’s the apartment style one, it costs a little more but it has been decided that the extra money being paid is quite literally being put towards providing a little more “awesome”.  And no, too much cake is NOT a good thing – but you can never have too much awesome.

Ok so today i popped my lottery ticket cherry.  … … … That was a charming opening line.

I’m not a fan of lottery (or ‘lotto’).  I grew up watching my parents play lotto in hopes to strike it rich – but they failed everytime.  However… Tomorrow night is a $90 million draw.  I thought “Meh, i’ll give it a go”.  I mean, a chance at 90 mil?  I’ll take it – even if its a ridiculously low chance – i’ll take it!

So i got my ticket.  Let’s see how i do.

Ahh… wow today was probably one of the best days I’ve had in a loooong while.

Today marked the day I finish Uni this semester – heck the last day I finish Uni in Austraia for 2009!!! No more uni till Kansai Gaidai! And, oh, was it a wonderful day.

So I woke up this morning after a pretty good sleep – which doesn’t happy very often due to a sleeping condition I have – and I dived straight into study for my final exam for the semester: Japanese.  And what a way to go out!

Woo!! Exams are nearly over!!  Just got my Japanese exam on next Thursday and then it’s chillax time till Kansai Gaidai.

The past 3 exams were good – well one was  a presentation – but for all 3 i feel as though i’ve borderlined 6′s or 7′s (distinction’s or high distinction’s), so i could very well end up with 3 distinctions, or 3 high distinctions, and of course a blend of both.  Who knows.  As for Japanese, it depends how my study goes – but this is all theory, so i think i’ll be ok as long as i memorize my verbs – oh and kanji, but kanji is ok.  Me and Kanji are tight.

Ok, so i’ve recovered from the WordPress 2.8 crash, and it seems as though my little Kansai Gaidai Blog is cruising.

So what happened you ask?

YOU: “No, i didn’t ask that”

Alrighty then – all i’ll tell you is that shit broke, i have a new calendar (click that «-» thingy! It’s cool! … well i think so), and IE didn’t help.

But this post is pretty much just to ask YOU – my avid readers – to please let me know if you see something retarded on my blog.  Just let me know what happened, and what version of Internet Explorer you are using (because no other browser would screw up).

Not only that, i’m going to do my part in the war against IE – Download Firefox

…Wordpress 8 seems to have broken my blog… in the process of fixing it…
