Rollercoasters are fun. All of them. I love them. Me and rollercoasters are tight.

The Bush Beast aka “Big Beastie”
I remember when I was like 10 years old, a tiny chap, and i REALLY wanted to go on this rollercoaster at “Wonderland – Sydney”, which is now closed :’( – this roller coaster was aptly named “The big beastie” by a 10 year old Jace… lol but yeah, i wasn’t tall enough coz i’m totally short as. It sucked pretty badcore. But, like humans do, i grew up and i went on it and it was by far the coolest thing ever. I went on it in the rain with my cousin, and we were so shocked we didn’t move when it stopped. Then the rollercoaster started up again – before we could get off. Round 2! lol The 2nd time around was great, i knew what to expect and could really appreciate what was happeninig. It was pretty cool, a memory burned into me.

Long story, get comfy
I had a show on Friday night (gay show too), and so after the show the drummer, Brent, and I went to McDonald’s at a suburb called “Springwood” (at 1am) on the way home. Brent generally is my transport to and from shows because of my Sleep Apnea. I have a tendancy to uh… fall asleep whilst driving. So yeah, stopped at McDonald’s (gross)

I ordered my food (gross) and was waiting for them to bring it to me. In the mean time there were two kids, mid to late teens, one with a black hoody the other with a white hat, next to me sticking their train cards (“Go Cards”) into the EFTPOS machine (I hope EFTPOS is an international name for the card payment thingy-majiggy). So I kinda looked at em and was like meh. So i grabbed my food and sat down. Brent and I had chat and finished our food in about 15 minutes and were gonna walk to the car. Hmm.. something wasn’t right. Oh I know…
I DIDN’T HAVE MY WALLET!

Ok so today I had my first Japanese listening test, and to be honest – I was freaking out.

Mentioned a million times before: I test well. I’m good at exams, comfortable, never nervous, and it’s what I do best at. However this was different. I was freaking out!!! I felt severely underprepared. The thing that was letting me down was definitely my vocab – which is terrible! I have SOOO much trouble remembering/recalling different vocab. Obviously this would be a problem. Even if i know what they said – i wouldn’t know what they meant. It’s the thing i have the most trouble with!

First of all, Kanji test! I did heaps good! There’s a really good chance I aced it, so… fingers crossed. I did a serious cram session trying to remember all the combinations I needed to – but i think I did it! Yay!
Now onto the real highlight of the day: Dinner with JB.
